Objective: To create a representation of your ideal customer. This is a fictious character who personifies the customer you are wanting to attract to your business.
Identify the demographics of your ideal customer: age, gender, income range (ie: less than $20 000, $20 000 to $45 000, $46 000 to 65 000, etc), level of complete education, marital status (ie: single, married, widowed), family stage (young married, married with babies, married with toddlers, married with school-age kids, married with teens, married with young adult kids), and where he or she lives and works.

Identify the psychographics of your ideal customer: Really get to know and understand the behaviours of your ideal customer. What are their routines and habits? What social media platforms do they use? What websites do they trust for information? Who are influencers they follow? What type of leisure activies do they engage in? What hobbies do they have or want to make time for? What are their personal values? What are their attitudes towards money? time? fitness? intellect? challenges? sports? politics? religion? Also, what are their interests outside of work and school? Do they belong to a club? organization? community group?
