Ingredients

all purpose flour

tbsp
white sugar

salt

tsp
baking powder
1/2
tsp
cream of tartar
1/2
cup
butter, frozen + grated
1
cup
milk
Instructions
Sift together flour, white sugar, salt, baking powder, and cream of tartar
Grate in frozen butter and mix with a pastry cutter or knife or fork (or your hands) until crumbly
Add milk and quickly combine
On a lightly floured surface, knead bread gently (only to shape - max. knead 10 times)
Roll slightly to reach desired thickness
Cut with cookie cutter and place on lightly greased cookie sheet
Brush milk on top for better browning
Bake at 450 degrees F for 12 to 14 minutes
