Savoury Stovetop Popcorn
Making popcorn at home is a healthy and inexpensive way to snack and this recipe packs a lot of punch in the flavour department!

Ingredients
Popcorn
1/3
cup
Corn kernels
2
tbsp
Extra virgin olive oil OR Avacado oil
If you don't have either of these oils, you can use Canola oil
House Seasoning
2
tbsp
Garlic powder
1
tbsp
Oregano, dried
1
tbsp
Basil, dried
2
tsp
Thyme, dried
1
tsp
Paprika
1
tsp
Black pepper
Basic Toppings
1
tbsp
Butter, melted
1
pinch
Salt or to taste
Instructions
In a heavy bottom, medium to large size saucepan add oil and kernels
Cover the pan leaving lid slightly ajar over medium-high heat
Once popcorn begins popping, cover lid tightly and allow to pop
Melt butter in the microwave either during popping or immediately afterward
When popping has slowed down, remove the saucepan from the stovetop and add melted butter, salt and houseblend of spices
Pour popcorn into individual bowls or a large bowl for sharing
